Who are we?
A friendly mixed-voice a cappella group in Brighton for confident singers who can read music.
We meet every Monday near Preston Park, sing everything from madrigals and Elgar to The Beatles and jazz standards, and you can even enjoy a glass of wine.

Thinking of Joining us?
- We rehearse on Monday evenings between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.
- We meet in a member's home in Brighton.
- We sing unaccompanied four-part harmony.
- Members are expected to read music and hold their own part.
- New singers are welcome to visit a rehearsal.
About us
Established over ten years ago, Brighton Acapella continues to be hosted by gregarious Stephen Newberry, who provides his living room and refreshments for a fun evening. There are currently a dozen or so active members, so we've space for four more (just!), particularly in the tenor and bass sections. Please message us if you'd like to come for a tryout.
